Broly (ブロリー, Burorī; "Broli") is a Saiyan who makes his debut in the movie Dragon Ball Z: Broly - The Legendary Super Saiyan. Broly's name is an allusion to the broccoli vegetable, which is even stated in the English version of the movie when Master Roshi refers to him as "Broccoli" by accident.

Broly's power as a Legendary Super Saiyan seems to be above a Full Power Super Saiyan's as well as Perfect Cell's but under a Super Saiyan 2 and Super Perfect Cell. Although he was capable of handling Goku, Gohan, Future Trunks, and Piccolo at once in Broly: The Legendary Super Saiyan, in Broly: Second Coming he seems to recieve a Zenkai and becomes even stronger.
Many Fans seemed to speculate his power as "unlimited" and "continuously rising" although this is not implied anywhere.
