Yakon is a character from the anime and manga, Dragon Ball Z. Yakon's home planet is called Dark Star (Ankoku).
History[]
Yakon appears in the Babidi saga as the second of Babidi's three warriors. During his fight with Goku they are teleported to his home planet, which contains no light at all. Yakon seems to be able to see easily in the darkness which was a disadvantage for Goku so he counteracts this by turning Super Saiyan, but it is revealed that Yakon can literally eat light. Unfortunately for Yakon he eats to much light from Goku's Super Saiyan form and explodes as a result of this. Yakon later appears in the Super 17 Saga of Dragon Ball GT as one of the countless villains who has escaped from Hell. He is defeated and killed by Trunks.
Yakon is the second boss of Babidi's ship in the game Dragon Ball Z: Buu's Fury.
